New & Fresh!
It’s tempting to always want things in life to be that way — new and fresh. But that’s not always healthy. And when it comes to reading the Bible, sometimes that could be one of the things that most trips us up.
What if God actually wants to speak something to you through something you’ve read before? Like…a number of times before? And maybe pretty recently? Like, just last-week-recently?
Welcome to our Daniel “Thriving in Babylon”
reading plan!
A reading plan that is unbelievably simple in that you simply read 2 chapters of Daniel every Monday-Saturday. That gets you through the whole book in a week.
And you do that for the 7 weeks that we’re in our sermon series in Daniel. Repetitive? Sure. But each week you’ll be reading it with a slightly different focus that connects with that past Sunday’s message.
We’re pretty confident that if you’re willing to do this, God will use this 7 weeks of reading the same 12 chapters over and over again to speak something…well, new and fresh to you!
